What flash do you recommend to use with the Canon Rebel XT?

I don’t have allot of money to spend…but I need to make the investment for a flash. I need help finding a good, reliable flash for not a lot of cash. It must be fully compatible with the Rebel XT with TTL. I have an old Canon Speedlight 540EZ that is not compatible, or reliable with Rebel XT…(anyone want to buy it? LOL). For around $150 , you can get a Canon 420EX or a Sigma EF 500 DG ST flash.

Or get this one for around $249.

I think these are your only low end options.
